Loaflet update — a little desktop cat, getting closer
Our Mac desktop cat is getting friendlier controls, clearer messages and a smoother daily routine. Here’s what we’re working on before launch.
Loaflet is a little pixel cat that lives on your Mac desktop. It wanders beside your windows, takes naps, and keeps you company while you work. Around that cat, we’re building a simple place for your tasks and a focus timer for work and breaks.
Here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes.
Small changes that make your cat feel closer
We’ve been refining how the cat moves, climbs and wears its collar. The controls now sit close to the cat, so feeding, playing and opening your tasks feel easier to reach.
We’ve also made its little messages clearer. A quick glance should tell you what your cat needs without pulling you away from your work.
These are small details, but they matter for a companion you’ll see throughout the day.
Making the everyday parts dependable
Your tasks, settings and cat’s progress should still be there when you return. We’ve been checking how Loaflet keeps them safe when an update or download goes wrong.
We’re also testing the future purchase experience: getting a receipt, finding your download again, and recovering access if something gets interrupted. These are practice runs, not real customer purchases.
What’s next for Loaflet?
We’re finishing the download and two-Mac setup, checking the experience on different Macs, and making sure the website explains everything clearly before you buy.
The first launch is planned for Indonesia. There’s no release date yet, and purchases and app downloads are still closed. We’ll share the final price, Mac requirements and purchase details when they’re ready.
For now, try the interactive desktop cat demo. It’s a small taste of the company Loaflet can bring to your workday. Or browse the build journal for future updates.
